Intro
Storytime Bear is an application for Windows and Mac that connects and uploads stories to a teddy bear toy for children.
The bear plays sounds (stories) and moves in sync with the sounds using animatronics.
The user gets to choose which stories by uploading
them to the bear. Once the story has been added to the bear, pressing on the bear’s
paw will start the story.
The bear is connected to the user’s PC using a USB cable and stories are chosen by the user and then downloaded from the internet.
The software application for Windows and Mac was developed by Eigo and the bear device was developed by Flair.
Storytime Bear is available on sale from Argos.
How to use Storytime Bear:
- To activiate the bear and hear the full story, press the bear's right foot (the paw with the music note).
- The left foot only plays the demo story when the switch is in the DEMO position.
- When you want to turn the bear off, simply move the switch to the OFF position./li>
- To stop playback whilst the bear is talking, simply squeeze the bear's right foot again.
- PLEASE NOTE: the bear does not "Pause". Playback will start again from the beginning when the bear is next activiated.
- Storytime Bear comes with "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" pre-installed.
